My Moonbeam

Addy had her first baby gymnastics class today at Mountain Gymnastics in Ft. Collins. The under 24 months students are the moonbeams. The gym is HUGE. They had three classes going at once and we didn't have any problems running into anyone...unless one of the little moonbeams made a run for it.

Today's class was about over, through and under objects. All of which I had to do along side her. We had a blast but my back is screaming for Advil.

Ahh, my favorite, The Pit. This is a giant whole in the floor filled with big foam pieces piled over a trampoline. I now know what it is like to be in quick sand, forget about getting out of this thing in a timely manor. And what was I thinking about while lounging in the pit?
What do you suppose they do if some kid with lice jumps in here?

The kids got to play wiffle golf at the end of the class. Addy's favorite toy in the world is a ball. She was running around stealing everyone else's while I ran behind her replacing the ones she took and making apologies for my little ball-burglar.

18 Month Sweet-Sweet Spring Shots

I am amazed that the photographer got any good shots today. She was not thrilled about having a male photographer but he was very patient and took the time to play with her until she warmed up to him. Each one of these shots is taken in between rolling a soccer ball back and forth with either the photographer or me. Good Times! { Yes that is a Tinker Bell cell phone in her hand. She has barely put it down in the last 24 hours}

A Visit From Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa stayed with us for a few days last week during their trek across the states. Addy is starting to remember them between visits. The first morning she woke up she went straight for Grandpa's lap, which made his day!





1..2..3! Addy realized that we take pictures on the count of three. She will sit with a blank look until you say THREE! and then she strikes a pose!

Duckies!

I found these great LED rubber duckies in a store in downtown Loveland. The motion of the water makes them light up with different colors. It's a light show in your bathtub! I'll let Addy tell you more about them...

Bubbles

It has been so nice this week. Addy has been able to play outside everyday and John has fired up the BBQ again. Hopefully tomorrows snow storm will be the last one of the season because we are really enjoying the warm weather. It is bubble weather!

Playing Dress-up

Miss Addy loves playing dress-up. She brings me hats and shoes and asks me, actually insists, that I help her put them on.

She will drag out clothes from her room and pretend to put them on, usually just managing to wrap them around her neck like a scarf.

One of Addy's Croc's made a run for it, we've put out an APB with no luck so far. Addy walks around the house with the remaining one on like Cinderella.
(I've actually started calling them her slippers because it reminds me of Cinderella.)

Boogie Baby

Addy was go, go, go today. She was up at 0830 this morning, played outside, went swimming, and only had 45 minutes of intermittent sleep. It took some effort for John to get her to go to sleep at 10 o'clock this evening. As you can see she was in good spirits and feelin' the music!

Addy loves rubber duckies and I found this giant ducky at Walgreens and had to have it.
Addy lit up when she saw it and played with it most of the day, walking around the house saying duck, duck, duck!
