John's brother Jim was my Secret Santa this year. Jim is a photographer and took this amazing shot of Addy. The picture is on canvas and looks like a painting, a painting of an angel.

We took Addy to the PD to visit Uncle Rod. A little warm-up before we headed out to see Santa. She wasn't so sure about Rod at first but after he showed her his cool pager she decided it was okay to talk with him.

We figured we were going to have a screamer on our hands for Santa after her reaction at the PD.

Addy proved us wrong. She didn't even make a peep. She was so fascinated by Santa we eventually had to tear her away (after I got my pictures). You can't tell from the pictures but rudolph's nose lights up on Addy's shirt. Addy got several comments about her cool Christmas outfit.

Addy started imitating me putting on lotion about a month ago.
I thought it was so cute. She usually doesn't get any lotion out of the bottle but that doesn't stop her from rubbing it in!

Sugar Shock

Addy went to a "slumber party" with her cousins at Grandpa's house Saturday night. On the way home Sunday morning we picked up some donuts to help Dada fight off his cold (very old remedy!).


I picked out a little one with pink icing (of course) for sweet-sweet to try.


The sugar overload made her hair stand straight up!!!


Just kidding! This was actually a product of daddy on cold medicine!

Addy is now wearing 18 month pj's because she is so long.

Addy's First Cold

Addy started getting sick with a cold Thursday night. She is congested and has a runny nose. Thankfully no cough or fever.

Addy and I spent the weekend hanging out around the house in our pj's while it snowed outside (and Daddy froze his butt off in a tree waiting for Bambi). She seems to be feeling a lot better today so hopefully she will be able to sleep through the night tonight.
