Look Ma, da balloon...da balloon!

A friend of mine gave me this balloon for my birthday and Addy has been fascinated by it since I brought it home. We set her in her carrier while we fix her bottles and she will sit there and not take her eyes off the kitty balloon.

3 Months Old!

John and I have been asked who we think Addison looks like. We have always said that she had John's nose and eyes and my mouth. To truly determine who she resembles we broke out the baby pictures. We could tell right away who she looked like but I won't sway the vote by telling. For fun please compare the pics below and leave us a comment with who you think she looks like.

Addison slept through the night for the first time on Valentine's Day. 8 whole hours!
Addy can hold her head up pretty well now ( I call her my little bobble head).
She laughs when you make funny faces and noises at her and occasionally when you tickle her armpits. The first time she laughed when I tickled her she had the hiccups for the next half hour!

Addison got this bouncy chair for Christmas and she loves it! She is getting really good at grabbing hold of the dangling toys which results in a song and a light show. She favors her left hand when she is playing in the chair and Grandma thinks she may end up a lefty.

Grandma Tech Support fixed my computer! I have some catching up to do with blogs so watch for some cute pics coming soon!

Cuddling with Dad

I started back to work Saturday night after a 12 week maternity leave. I spent all last week dreading having to leave my baby. Fortunately I have a job were I can be gone at night when she is sleeping and I only work 4 days a week. My work is 5 minutes from home so I can get a Sweet-Sweet fix on my lunch break (at one in the morning). She has been pretty good for her Dad while I'm away, only getting up once during the night to eat.

Computer Woes

Sorry about the delay getting a new blog post up. My computer is sick (but hopefully not dying) and my new laptop with Microsoft Vista is a pain.

We had a nice relaxing weekend at home. On Saturday we watched movies and napped.

Saturday night John and I went out to dinner and Addy spent a couple hours with Grandpa Jim before he left on vacation. Don't you love how content she looks?
On Superbowl Sunday we cheered on the Colts.
I've started working towards my bachelors degree in fraud investigation through on-line classes. Addy has been my little study buddy. I think she was a little bored with the description of the criminal justice layout. Wait till I start forensic accounting. I'm sure she'll be riveted!

I have to go back to work this Saturday so we've started the transition. Addy has slept in her crib in her room for the last couple nights. The first night I slept for 3 hours and then got up and held her for 4. Even though she's a noisy sleeper, I like having her in our room where I can hear her every move. We also started giving her one bottle of formula at bedtime so she sleeps a little longer for her dad. Hmmm, I wonder if I could sneak her into work with me. Do you think anyone would notice?

I'm so sad. My grandma hasn't seen any new pictures of me in five whole days. She and my grandpa really miss me. I hope my mom gets the computer fixed soon so she can blog about me again. Love, Addy
